Below is a brief checklist to help you with collecting the content required which we’d encourage you to print and tick off as you complete each one:
Provide a list of pages you’d like on your website and any text to go on those pages
Let us know what colour scheme you would like used on your website
Tell us the emails you would like to have set up @yourdomainname.com.au
Do you have an existing URL (Domain name) if so please advise.
Send us your logo and any images you have that you might like used on the website
What Contact Details (business name, address, phone number) do you want included?
Want a specific feature or function for your website that is not mentioned in this document?
Website Page Structure
A list of the pages you would like us to create on your website (e.g. Home, About Us, Services, Contact Us etc.). Please include any sub-headings where you would like drop down menus to appear.
Website Page Text
Outline any text, links, pictures, downloadable documents as you would like it to appear on each of the above listed pages. Use the same headings as outlined in your Website Page Structure and enter the content for each page beneath the title. If you would like specific images used on particular pages, please specify this referencing the image file name and the page on which you would like to see it. OS websites will enter up to 10 pages of content for you.
Type here all the text you would like to see on your Home page. Research shows that visitors only read about 20% of text on a webpage. Keep it short and sweet by getting your main point across in 1-2 sentences. Bullet points are a great way to make it obvious what you do at a glance.
* About Us
Type here all the text you would like to see on your About Us page. Your “About Us” page could include; a brief overview of what you do, including the benefits you offer to customers, and how those benefits distinguish you from competitors. Your company history. Testimonials from happy customers. A list of awards and other recognition you have received etc.
* Contact Us
On your Contact page you can list the ways in which your customers can contact you. All of your contact details can be included on this page and even a Google Map of where your business is located.
Please list any colours you would like used throughout your website. We can colour match to pretty much any example you send be it your business card or signage artwork, a picture you have or another website you like the look of. Simply list the colours below:
Existing Website URL
Please let us know what your existing URL (domain name) is if you have one and the login details for where you purchased it from. This is so we can update the DNS settings for when your new site goes live. These are the settings that tell your domain name where your new site is located.
List of email addresses you would like us to set up for your new website (e.g. yourname@, info@, contact@, enquiries@ etc.). If you have a pre-existing domain name with which you are already using emails, please list all of these below:
Logo and Images
1.Do you have a logo? If so please send us a copy of the original image.
2. How many images do you have prepared for your website?
3. Approximately how big are your images in pixels (i.e. 640 x 480, 1024 x 480, etc)
4. Do you require additional images to be supplied (at an extra cost) by us? If so please specify your requirements.
1. What is the business name you want added to your site
2. What is the address you want listed?
3. What is the phone number you want listed on the home page and the contact us page?
4. What email address would you like your website’s enquiry form to be sent to (i.e. email@example.com)?
Let us know if you require a specific feature or function that is not mentioned in this document and we can provide a separate quote for it. Alternatively, you can use this space to supply us with any additional information that was not covered above.
